The Edmonton Police Service has many reports that need to be made available to the public every year. All of the reports follow the preceding Strategic Plan in terms of content as well as visual elements and styles. The challenge was to disseminate the content in a digestible way as well create and recreate visuals that are engaging and informative.
The Young People Strategy was developed after recognizing a need for a different approach to policing young people aged 10–24 years of age. My role was to revamp the theme to be more youth-focused by creating a new colour palette, new typography styles, and creating a more rounded, youthful approach to the visuals and custom infographics.
